The Beale Street Theater Alley Mural
This mural was completed in September of 2018 as the first Kingman Main Street Art Alley Project. This project aims to bring art and culture to the heart of Kingman as part of our revitalization efforts. If you are interested in sponsoring more art in downtown Kingman, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org

The Art Selection Process
A call for proposals went out in the spring of 2018. From that, we received submissions from over 50 artists from around the world. A selection panel comprised of volunteers from Kingman Main Street and Kingman Center for the Arts met to select a piece. During the selection process, the panel only had access to the art itself. No information was presented about the artists or where they were from. This was to ensure that the art stood on its own and to keep the process fair and unbiased.
View the Interview with Kirk
Kirk Seese from Baltimore Maryland flew in and completed the mural in less than a week. He was the consummate professional and we were very lucky to have him.
Kirk is married and has two beautiful children.
Visit his website to learn more about him and his work.
The budget goal for this project was $5000. We were able to meet and exceed that goal with the generous donations of so many downtown businesses and individuals. We would like to thank the following contributors:
Dr Williams and Low Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic
Black Bridge Brewery
Canyon State Educational Solutions
Diana's Cellar Door
Rickety Cricket Brewing
Beale Street Brews Coffee Shop
and many more!
